TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read these terms carefully before booking or visiting WildSafari. By using our services you agree to be bound by the following conditions.
Privacy & Policy
Effective Date: 16 October 2026 | Last Updated: 16 October 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to The Territory.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, https://safariwithterritory.com/, and the enquiries, travel-planning assistance and other services we provide in connection with wildlife safaris, customised itineraries, tours and related travel arrangements.
For the purposes of these Terms, The Territory India (Partnership Firm), trading as The Territory, is referred to as “The Territory”, “we”, “us” or “our”. Any person visiting our website, making an enquiry or using our services is referred to as “you” or the “Customer”.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or confirming a travel arrangement. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms to the extent applicable to your use. A confirmed booking may also be subject to the itinerary, quotation, booking confirmation, supplier conditions and other written terms applicable to that booking.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any right or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
2. About Our Services
The Territory assists travellers in planning personalised wildlife safaris, wildlife photography journeys, customised holidays and other travel experiences across India and selected international destinations.
Depending on the itinerary, our services may include planning assistance, destination recommendations, itinerary preparation, availability coordination and arranging or facilitating reservations with relevant service providers.
Accommodation, safari arrangements, transportation, guides, permits, activities and other travel components may be provided by independent third-party suppliers. The role of The Territory in relation to each service will be set out in the relevant quotation, itinerary or booking confirmation.
Unless expressly stated in writing, The Territory does not own or operate the hotels, lodges or other accommodation properties featured or recommended on the website.
3. Website Information and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to present useful and accurate information on our website. However, destination descriptions, photographs, sample itineraries, wildlife information, accommodation details, seasonal guidance and other website content are provided for general information and planning purposes.
Information may change because of availability, seasonality, weather, local operating conditions, supplier decisions, government directions or other circumstances beyond our control.
Displaying a destination, accommodation option, experience or itinerary on the website does not guarantee its availability or confirm that it has been reserved for you.
All travel arrangements remain subject to availability, applicable rules, supplier confirmation and the terms communicated to you before booking.
4. Enquiries and Booking Confirmation
Submitting an enquiry through our website, email, telephone or another communication channel does not by itself constitute a confirmed booking.
The usual planning process may involve:
Receiving your destination preferences, travel dates, group details and other requirements.
Discussing suitable destinations and itinerary options.
Providing a proposal or quotation based on available information.
Confirming availability, inclusions, pricing, payment requirements and applicable cancellation conditions.
Receiving the required acceptance and payment and issuing written booking confirmation.
A booking will be treated as confirmed only when the applicable booking conditions have been fulfilled and we or the relevant service provider have issued confirmation, as specified in the booking documents.
Verbal discussions, preliminary proposals, website photographs and indicative prices should not be treated as confirmation of a reservation.
You should review the written itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, payment schedule and cancellation conditions before making payment.
5. Quotations, Prices and Taxes
Prices will be communicated through the relevant quotation, itinerary, invoice or booking confirmation.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, quotations may be based on the information available at the time they are prepared and may be subject to validity periods, availability, supplier confirmation and the assumptions stated in the quotation.
The final price may depend on factors including:
Destination, travel dates and duration.
Number of travellers and room-sharing arrangements.
Accommodation category and availability.
Number and type of safaris or other activities.
Transport, transfers, permits and entry fees.
Applicable taxes, service charges and government levies.
Currency fluctuations or supplier rate changes before confirmation, where relevant and lawfully applicable.
Any applicable taxes, additional charges or exclusions that materially affect the amount payable should be identified in the relevant quotation or booking documents.
If a quotation contains an apparent error, we will seek to clarify or correct it before the booking is confirmed. We will not knowingly rely on an obvious pricing error to impose an undisclosed charge on a Customer.
Any change to a confirmed booking price must be handled in accordance with the booking terms and applicable law.
6. Inclusions and Exclusions
The services included in a safari or tour will be specified in the relevant written itinerary or quotation.
Unless expressly included, the total price may not cover items such as:
Flights, trains or other transport not specified in the itinerary.
Visa fees, passport expenses and travel documentation.
Travel insurance.
Meals, beverages or personal expenses not listed as included.
Tips and gratuities.
Optional excursions or activities.
Additional accommodation, transfers or nights arising from a change in travel plans.
Expenses resulting from delays, missed connections or personal circumstances, except where covered by the booking terms or applicable law.
This list is illustrative and is not a substitute for the inclusions and exclusions supplied for your particular journey.
If any inclusion or exclusion is unclear, you should obtain written clarification before confirming the booking.
7. Payments and Booking Deadlines
Payment amounts, payment methods, advance deposits, instalments, balance-payment deadlines and other financial conditions will be specified in the applicable quotation, invoice or booking confirmation.
You agree to make payments in accordance with those written requirements. Failure to pay by a stated deadline may affect reservations or services that depend on timely payment.
Where a supplier requires payment within a specified period, the relevant deadline and consequences should be communicated in the booking documents.
A payment is not, by itself, proof that every component of a trip has been confirmed unless the applicable booking confirmation says so.
Receipts or other payment acknowledgements will be provided where applicable. Payment-card and other financial information may be handled by the relevant payment service provider under its own terms and security procedures.
8. Changes to Your Booking
Requests to change travel dates, destinations, the number of travellers, accommodation, safari arrangements or other booking details must be communicated to us in writing as soon as possible.
Changes are subject to availability, supplier approval, applicable booking conditions and any additional costs or charges arising from the change.
We will communicate material changes and their known financial implications before proceeding, where reasonably practicable. A requested change should not be treated as approved until written confirmation has been provided.
Where a change is not possible, the original booking terms and applicable cancellation conditions will continue to apply, subject to applicable law.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
9.1 Cancellation by the Customer
If you wish to cancel an enquiry or a confirmed booking, you must notify us in writing using the contact details provided in these Terms or your booking confirmation.
The cancellation conditions, applicable deadlines, supplier charges, administrative charges, refundable amounts and refund-processing arrangements will be those stated in the booking-specific terms communicated to you before confirmation.
Different elements of a journey may have different cancellation conditions. For example, accommodation, safari permits, transport, flights and other reservations may be governed by separate supplier policies.
Before paying for a booking, you should review the applicable cancellation policy and seek written clarification of any unclear conditions. Do not assume that a deposit or any other payment is refundable or non-refundable unless the applicable booking terms state this, subject to your statutory rights.
9.2 Refund Processing
Where a refund is due, we will process it in accordance with the applicable booking conditions, supplier arrangements and applicable law.
The amount and timing of a refund may depend on the payment method, the status of relevant reservations, supplier refunds and any valid cancellation charges. We will communicate material refund information to you and handle refund requests in accordance with the applicable terms and legal requirements.
No provision of these Terms is intended to permit a charge or withholding that is prohibited by applicable law.
9.3 Cancellation by The Territory or a Supplier
In exceptional circumstances, a service may be unavailable or may need to be cancelled by us or a relevant supplier.
Where this occurs, we will communicate the situation and any reasonably available alternatives. The available options, including rescheduling, alternative arrangements or refunds, will depend on the booking terms, the circumstances and applicable law.
We will not treat a supplier’s cancellation as automatically extinguishing any rights or remedies you may have under applicable law.
10. Changes to Itineraries and Operational Arrangements
Travel arrangements can be affected by weather, road conditions, wildlife reserve regulations, permit availability, accommodation availability, transport schedules, safety considerations, government instructions or other operational circumstances.
An itinerary may therefore require adjustments before or during a journey.
Where reasonably practicable, we will inform you of material changes and discuss appropriate alternatives. Any change that materially affects the agreed services, price or other important booking terms will be dealt with in accordance with the applicable booking conditions and law.
For safety or regulatory reasons, a supplier or competent authority may need to change, suspend or stop an activity without advance notice.
11. Wildlife Sightings and Nature of Safaris
Wildlife safaris take place in natural environments where animal movements and sightings are unpredictable.
Although itineraries may be planned around habitat, season, known wildlife activity and available safari opportunities, The Territory cannot guarantee sightings of any particular animal or bird, including tigers, leopards, lions, rhinos or other wildlife.
Descriptions, photographs, videos and past sighting records on our website are illustrative and do not guarantee that the same wildlife will be observed during your journey.
The number of safaris, route availability, entry permissions and time spent in a reserve are subject to the relevant rules, permits, operational conditions and confirmed itinerary.
Wildlife photography opportunities, particular animal encounters and preferred routes cannot be guaranteed.
12. Traveller Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Providing accurate and complete information relevant to your enquiry and booking.
Reviewing the itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, prices and applicable booking conditions before confirmation.
Providing correct traveller names, ages and travel-document details where required.
Obtaining valid passports, visas and other documentation required for your journey.
Meeting applicable entry, immigration, health, vaccination and other travel requirements.
Arriving at the designated meeting points at the stated times.
Following lawful instructions, safety guidance, park regulations and supplier rules.
Informing us in advance of relevant dietary, accessibility or other arrangements that may affect the journey.
Treating local communities, wildlife, natural habitats, fellow travellers and service providers respectfully.
You are responsible for checking current travel and entry requirements with the relevant authorities before departure. Any guidance we provide is for assistance and should not be treated as a substitute for official requirements or professional advice where needed.
13. Wildlife Safety and Conduct
Wildlife safaris involve outdoor environments and risks that may include uneven terrain, changing weather, insects, wild animals, vehicle movement and distance from medical facilities.
You must follow the instructions of the authorised guides, naturalists, drivers and other responsible personnel during activities.
You must not deliberately approach, feed, disturb, chase, threaten or harass wildlife, or engage in conduct prohibited by a national park, wildlife reserve or relevant authority.
Failure to comply with safety instructions or applicable rules may result in an activity being restricted or stopped by the responsible supplier or authority.
You are responsible for considering your own physical capabilities and seeking appropriate medical advice where necessary before participating in an activity.
Nothing in this section excludes any duty of care or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Health, Accessibility and Special Requirements
Please tell us about relevant accessibility, dietary or other special requirements when making an enquiry or before confirming a booking, so that we can assess what arrangements may be possible.
Any requested arrangement is subject to availability and the capabilities of the relevant service providers. It should not be treated as confirmed unless expressly included in the written booking documents.
You should ensure that you are medically and physically able to participate in your planned activities and carry any medication or personal equipment you require.
Where appropriate, we recommend obtaining qualified medical advice before travel. You should also review any destination-specific health, vaccination and entry requirements.
15. Minors and Children
A parent or legal guardian must supervise children travelling with them and ensure that the planned activities, accommodation and transport are suitable for the children concerned.
You must provide accurate ages and other information required for reservations, permits, age restrictions or safety arrangements.
Parents or guardians are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions and ensuring that children follow the applicable safety and conduct rules.
Specific age limits or participation conditions imposed by a supplier or authority will apply to the relevant activity.
16. Third-Party Suppliers
A journey may include arrangements supplied by independent hotels, lodges, safari operators, transport providers, guides, airlines, activity providers or other third parties.
Where relevant, those services may be subject to the supplier’s own booking conditions, operating rules, safety requirements and cancellation policies. These conditions will apply alongside your booking-specific arrangements to the extent relevant and lawful.
We will take reasonable care when coordinating the services we have agreed to arrange. However, we do not control every aspect of the independent operations, staffing, facilities or decisions of third-party suppliers.
The existence of a supplier relationship does not remove any responsibility that The Territory has under the applicable booking agreement or law.
17. Travel Insurance
Unless expressly stated in your itinerary, travel insurance is not included in the booking price.
We strongly recommend obtaining appropriate travel insurance for your journey, including cover suitable for the destination and activities involved. Depending on your plans, this may include medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation or interruption, baggage loss and personal liability.
You are responsible for reviewing the scope, exclusions, limits and validity of any policy you purchase.
18. Force Majeure and Events Beyond Reasonable Control
A journey or service may be disrupted by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the affected party. These may include severe weather, floods, natural disasters, wildfire, public-health emergencies, civil unrest, war, terrorism, strikes, government restrictions, border closures, transport disruption, reserve closures or other comparable events.
Where such circumstances arise, we will take reasonable steps to communicate relevant information and discuss available options.
Any rescheduling, cancellation, additional expense or refund will be handled in accordance with the applicable booking terms, supplier conditions and applicable law. This section does not remove statutory rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content, including text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, designs, branding and other material, are owned by The Territory or are used with permission or under an applicable licence.
You may view the website and use its content for your personal, non-commercial information.
You must not, without the necessary permission:
Copy, reproduce, republish or distribute substantial parts of the website content.
Use our branding, logo, photographs or other protected material commercially.
Modify or commercially exploit website content.
Remove copyright notices or other ownership information.
Use our content in a way that infringes the rights of The Territory or another rights holder.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of intellectual property to you.
If you believe any material on our website infringes your rights, please contact us with sufficient information to identify the material and explain your concern.
20. Acceptable Use of the Website
You agree not to use the website:
For an unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose.
To submit knowingly false, deceptive or unauthorised information.
To attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its systems or data.
To introduce malicious code or interfere with the website’s operation.
To scrape, copy or harvest personal information without authorisation.
To infringe intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights.
In any manner that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
We may take reasonable measures to protect the website, investigate suspected misuse or restrict access where necessary and legally permitted.
21. Website Availability and External Links
We aim to maintain an accessible and functional website, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or compatibility with every device or browser.
Access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, technical problems or circumstances beyond our control.
Our website may link to third-party websites, booking platforms, map services, social media pages or other external resources. These links are provided for convenience or information. We do not control those external websites and are not responsible for their independent content, policies or practices.
Your use of third-party websites or services may be subject to separate terms and conditions.
22. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
We take reasonable care when preparing information and coordinating the services that we agree to provide. However, website information, destination descriptions, wildlife information and indicative itineraries are not guarantees of future conditions or outcomes.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Territory will not be responsible for loss arising solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control, inaccurate information supplied by a customer, or the independent acts or omissions of third-party providers for which The Territory is not legally responsible.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law.
Where permitted by law, any assessment of responsibility for loss or damage will take account of the circumstances, the applicable booking agreement and the obligations of the parties concerned.
23. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for reasonable losses or costs directly arising from your unlawful conduct, fraud, deliberate misuse of the website or material breach of these Terms, including infringement of third-party rights.
This provision does not make you responsible for losses caused by our own breach, negligence or other conduct for which we are legally responsible, and it does not limit any consumer protection available to you under applicable law.
24. Privacy and Personal Information
Your use of the website and the handling of personal information submitted to us are also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains the types of personal information we may collect, the purposes for which it may be used, relevant disclosures to service providers, data-retention practices and the ways in which you may contact us about your information.
Please read the Privacy Policy before submitting personal information through our website.

If you have a concern about our website, service, itinerary or booking arrangements, please contact us with a clear description of the issue and relevant booking details.
We will review the information provided and endeavour to respond appropriately. Any complaint will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant booking conditions.
